Honda CMX 500 Gets an Impressive Upgrade

After making its debut only a few years ago, the Honda CMX 500 has received some remarkable upgrades for the new decade. It’s still a learner licence compliant ride with the bobber styling and timeless features but now with the 2020 model has a LED lighting package, a slipper/assist clutch pull and a new suspension.

For those that want the top of the range, Honda has added the S Edition into the mix. This has factory-fitted accessories such as all-black fork covers and gaiters, headlight cowl and diamond-stitch style seat.

The CMX is a very versatile model with a twin-cylinder engine, cast aluminium wheels and 11L fuel tank capacity. The styling is chic and cool and blacked-out to the max. For convenience, there are new indicators on the instrument panel and optional passenger seat that simply bolts on when required.

Honda state that the new S Edition showcases a new direction for the CMX and no doubt riders will be keen to take delivery of the 2020 models. Honda has a large dealer network so you can check out which of the CMX models will be your new ride.

But before you head into the dealership, contact Jade Bike Loans and organise your pre-approved bike loan.

Getting in First for New Bike Models

Are you the rider that is always first in your group or club with the new model? Or are you the one that seems to always be following the crowd and turns up later because it took you too long to get organised?

Well here’s our tip to speed up your purchase of a new motorcycle model when it comes onto the Australian market – a pre-approved bike loan. A pre-approved bike loan through Jade Bike Loans is easy to organise and makes a whole lot of sense whether you’re buying a brand new bike or a second-hand machine.

The process is the same as applying for a bike loan except you go through the stages before you decide on the bike. Normally you would hit the dealership, test ride, sort out your options and accessories package, dealer writes up the purchase order and THEN you apply for your loan.

With a pre-approved bike loan you reverse the process. First, you contact Jade Bike Loans and have your bike loan quoted and then approved, based on a dollar value of what you think the bike will cost you. With your finance sorted, you saunter into the dealership, do your negotiations and sign the sale contract then and there.

You save time and you get to negotiate with the seller on price from a more confident position.
