2021 looks like being a very exciting year for motorcycle enthusiasts with multiple makers announcing new models and upgrades to be released throughout the year. We like to stay across the scene and have already posted news of upcoming launches from Triumph Motorcycles, Harley-Davidson and others. But wait, there's more! We've come across more news snippets to share and assist you start planning the purchase of your new motorbike.
Royal Enfield News
Buyers won’t have to wait long to get their hands on the handlebars of the new Royal Enfield Meteor 350. According to reports, it is due for sale in Australia in the middle of February 2021. We read that this new 350 replaces the Rumbler but is a new motorcycle in multiple respects. They include the inclusion of the brand’s Tripper navigation technology. Three variants of this motorbike will be available – Fireball, Supernova and Stellar with a great selection of colour choices. With a nod to its 1952 namesake, this Meteor will feature heritage styling.

Kawasaki Update
Known as a 2022 model but due for availability in the latter part of 2021, the Kawasaki KLR 650 has undergone an update. We’re talking electronic fuel injection and a digital instrument display and a new Adventure model joins the line-up.
The KLR 650 Adventure is intended for motorcycle riders that like to embark on adventures that are more rugged than the standard so it is kitted out with additional equipment as standard. Keen Kawasaki enthusiasts will no doubt appreciate the more sophisticated appeal of the new 650 and features such as the larger fuel tank, minor changes to suspension and chassis and the increased output of the generator. But the 650 remains a very affordable and easy to ride option for an army of Kawasaki buyers.

Indian Motorcycles 2022 Models
Also in the MY22 line-up due to come out in 2021, are new models in the Indian Motorcycle Company FTR collection. We hear the new line-up will be sportier in both the feel of the ride and the appearance of the motorcycles. The new elements apparently include upgrades to suspension and engine tuning, 17” wheels, lowering of the seat to deliver better handling, rider assists and electronics and a large touchscreen display.
You can expect to have to select from three choices if the FTR is on your buying radar. The standard, S and R Carbon variants. Each is a step up in features and inclusions but also has an increase in price. Don’t worry, with a cheap Jade motorbike loan, that top price may be extremely affordable.
