One of the issues which could make the LiveWire appealing to many buyers is the reduced amount of maintenance required with the electric motor. With the usual internal combustion engine models you have the spark plugs, oil and air filter to change regularly and other service reqs. With the electric motor those processes are eliminated. You will still need to service and maintain the brake pads and fluid, tyres of course and other mechanical items. But overall the maintenance is much lower with an electric motor.
If you’ve never even considered and electric-powered vehicle of any sort – car or bike – with the global push towards reducing emission levels caused by petrol powered engines, it may be time to start thinking about an EV.
