The event - the Harley Owners Group HOG rally which is set to be held at The Bend Motorsport Park at Tailem Bend in South Australia across the weekend of 22-24 September.
6 months away? Get ready now? Yes, there are plenty of compelling reasons as to why now is the right time especially if attendees want to ride to the event on their new Harley-Davidson. Harley Davidson HOG Rally
The National HOG Rally is extra special as it marks the 120 year anniversary for the Harley-Davidson brand. Tailem Bend is south-east of Adelaide, just over an hour’s ride. The location is in the Coorong an Murray River Lakes area with plenty for visitors to explore while in the region.

Event Details
The Rally includes a great program of activities including music and entertainment, guided rides, a motorbike show, track sessions, Show ‘n Shine and games. In addition, there will be tech talks from experts. Tech gurus from Harley-Davidson Australia will be conducting seminars to assist owners get the most from the latest tech, on setting up their motorbike and maintenance.
For those travelling from interstate or intrastate a range of accommodation options are available. They include the brand-new Rydges Pit Lane Hotel which is at the site itself. Parking facilities for motorcycles is available at the hotel or close by.
The nearby Big 4 Holiday Park is another option. The accommodation caters for campers, caravan owners as well as includes cabins and dorms. Murray Bridge is close by and offers hotel and motel accommodations.
Event organisers will be running shuttles from some of the major accommodation providers to the event site over the weekend.
Tickets can be purchased via the event website with pricing at $99 for HOG members. Tickets are also available at higher prices for guests of members and different pricing for children depending on age. The member ticket covers the 3 days and includes extras such as participation in some activities and patch, pin and t-shirt.
Individual one day passes can be purchased at the gate.
