The group’s high-profile ambassador is none other than one of Australia’s most beloved and respected former motorcycle racing legends, Wayne Gardner. Wayne was the 1987 World 500cc Champion and his son Remy has followed in his father’s pedals and is also now racing bikes on the world circuit.

The group’s mission, as stated on their website www.twag.org.au has specific objectives which include, but are not limited to:-

They want the costs charged to 2 wheel owners to better reflect the lower impact that this type of transport has on roads and infrastructure. The website also includes several videos with Wayne Gardner discussing the key issues and there is a petition which they invite people to sign to show support and assist with their lobbying efforts.
