After 26 years on the Grand Prix motorcycling racing circuit, Valentino Rossi has announced his retirement at the end of the current season. Known as The Doctor, Rossi clocked up 9 titles across multiple classes in a career which can only be described in superlatives. He debuted in 1996 in the 125cc class before proceeding to impress in the premium MotoGP category. Time to celebrate with a new machine with a cheap bike loan.
While Rossi will certainly be missed in racing leathers, it is reported that he will continue his involvement in the sport. He has a training academy and will launch his own motorcycle racing team in MotoGP for the 2022 season.

Incoming Alert: New Models on the Way
Valentino Rossi started his category on an Aprilia so we’ll start our round-up of what new models are coming with the Aprilia Tuareg 660. The Tuareg was first launched in 1985, retired in 1994 and is now being revived. The new model is described as middleweight adventure motorbike which is red hot. This is an adventure touring model which includes off-road capabilities.

Valentino also raced for Honda and the Japanese manufacturer has revealed a new CRF 250R in their 2022 line-up. Based on the platform race by Aussie Honda riders Jett and Hunter Lawrence, the updates to the model include engine and chassis. Upgrades which reportedly reduce the weight while increasing power and improving reliability. You won’t have to wait long to get aboard the new Honda CRF 250R, it should be available in local showrooms in September. On the ‘coming soon’ list are two new tourers from BMW. These high-tech machines, the R18B and R18 Transcontinental. Both have a large 10.25” TFT display and 4 analogue instruments and a sound system by Marshall. Cruise control is standard and Active Cruise Control an optional extra. Remember, optional extras which are purchased at the same time as the bike and included on the dealer invoice can be included in your bike loan. Also on the ‘coming soon’ calendar and also set for September availability is the Benelli TNT 600i. This will be of special interest to new riders, as a LAMS approved bike with an affordable price tag.
