In the market for a new machine? New motorbikes coming soon.

New motorbikes are due in Australia from late 2026 to early 2027 from Suzuki, KTM and Kawasaki with models to suit LAMS, touring, motocross and Enduro riders. Riders in the market to upgrade will no doubt want to include these latest models in their buying considerations.

Buyers requiring finance for their purchase can start planning by comparing their loan options and even submitting their application for a pre-purchase assessment. Even when delivery on the machine may be months away, knowing that you would be approved for a motorcycle loan based on current financials, can be extremely helpful.

Time to start planning to upgrade to a new machine. Review the upcoming models for suitability to your riding style. Consider the financing options. New Motorbikes – Suzuki, KTM, Kawasaki

Based on reports, the new Suzuki SV-7GX is due in Australian dealerships in January next year. This LAMS-approved model provides touring capabilities and is based on Suzuki’s 645cc engine. Features are reported to include a more upright riding position, equipment focussed on touring, and electronic aids for riders.

All details are yet to be released. But pricing we sourced so far starts from around $15,000 up to around $16,500 across the variants.

If January is too long to wait for a new machine or if long-distance travelling is more your style, you may like to consider the upcoming new model from KTM – the 690 Rally. Buyers will only have to wait until December for this new release.

This 2027 KTM model includes features to take riders on their preferred long-distance adventure and is based on KTM’s LC4 platform and the very popular 690 Enduro R. But with more! At what price? The company has not revealed its pricing for Australia. Those interested may start planning based on a higher price than the current Enduro R which is just over $21,000.

If you’re into motocross and in the market to upgrade, you may have to wait a little longer for the new Kawasaki KX327. This new 2-stroke motocross model is not due to be available to Australian buyers until the first quarter of next year.

This new motocross motorbike is a 2-stroke, single cylinder. The engine shares some features with the KX327X but with upgraded inclusions such as strong traction at very low RPMs and a crisp throttle response. Features include power mode selection, smartphone connectivity, ergonomic bodywork and a large capacity fuel tank of 8.6 litres.

What can you expect to pay for this machine? Starting price is currently looking like around $15,000.

With the Australian release of these models some way off, prospective buyers should stay across updates for final specs. Stay in touch with your local Suzuki, KTM or Kawasaki dealer or the manufacturer websites for updates on availability dates and ride-away pricing confirmations.

Loans for New Motorbikes

While new machines come with a higher price tag than second-hand, financing new compared with used can offer attractive advantages. New motorbikes are typically financed with a Secured Motorbike Loan. This type of credit product allows buyers to use their machine as the collateral for the loan. Depending on individual financials and credit scores, many buyers are not required to provide additional assets to secure their finance.

With the goods securing the finance, lenders offer their best interest rates on secured credit products. Higher loan limits may also be achieved, allowing buyers to potentially acquire a latest release with a lower deposit.

What might one of the upcoming Suzuki, KTM or Kawasaki models cost you in loan terms? Prospective buyers can use the currently cited pricing as a guide to loan requirements when using our Motorbike Finance Calculator to work up loan estimates.

Use the prices available as the loan total required. Or increase or decrease the amount to allow for possible variations before the models' arrival and/or for your deposit. Use our current rates as a guide when calculating estimates, being mindful that rates could change before you require finance.

If planning to wait until the arrival of some of these new motorbikes early next year, there will be several Reserve Bank rate decisions between now and then to consider. We could see another rate rise this year with the general outlook being for rates to start being cut by the RBA later next year.
